Microneedling

by | May 3, 2021

Microneedling comes under a category of treatments known as also known as collagen induction therapy.

As we age we lose collagen and elastin in our skin resulting in skin dullness, laxity and fine lines. Microneedling uses fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds in the top layer of skin. It’s faster and more powerful and accurate than an at-home roller which tends to drag on the skin and create extra unnecessary trauma.

Microneedling can stimulate the body’s natural wound healing processes, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production, therefore reversing as well as preventing signs of ageing. It is particularly effective for hydrating skin as the weather cools and reducing scar appearance.

This beautiful lady suffered a horrible accident involving a taxi and her glasses got broken across the bridge of her nose. Once the initial healing process had commenced we started her on regular microneedling treatment with a cocktail of vitamins and coupled with LED therapy at Nevaeh Beauty, Lithgow.
